WORKSHOPS 4 SCHOOLS

There are over 30 workshops to choose from @ D.R.A.M.A. If you are planning a creative/arts week then our workshops are ideal. If you are studying festivafals like ‘Diwali’ or Chinese New Year then our Indian Dance and Chinese Dance workshops would be perfect! If you are looking for workshops to support the national curriculum then we have a range of topics that effectively cover what you are studying like the Victorians and Romans.

*Multiple Day Workshops 4 Schools can be anything from 2 Full Days to booking the whole week
*Staff Workshops are designed for the teachers for an hour before or after school, simply choose a workshop you want to do. Inset Days are designed for teachers to discover an alternative and creative approach to teaching, employing methods from our experienced instructors to gage ideas and encourage learning through movement and arts.
*After school clubs we currently run street dance, drama, tap and musical theatre clubs in schools. The special offers need to be big., maybe out them in big colourful circles. Last for 45 minutes or an hour after school and take up to 20-30 children, 2 sessions are usually in place depending on popularity.
*Shows and Performances 4 Schools consist of a 45 minute performance of a chosen theme, a popular show we perform to schools is called ‘STORIES FROM AROUOND THE WORLD’. Some schools have incorporated the show in their full day workshop to coincide with the theme.
*School Concerts and Christmas Productions invite specialists from D.R.A.M.A to help direct, choreograph or plan shows, popular events schools have invited us to help them with are school musicals and Year 6 Leavers concerts.

Planning your day

A full day workshop consists of 6 sessions lasting 45 minutes but you may decide to have more or less sessions depending on how much time you have for the students. The day is very flexible we will work around your school timetable.  A half day can be a morning or afternoon workshop consisting of 3 sessions. You tell us what you are looking for and what you want the children to achieve then we will discuss thoroughly the structure of the day, which workshops we feel would be suitable for your requests and what would be involved in each workshop.
